Hmm. I've not checked it against my VIN, but I copied it straight from ELSA, so in theory it should work.

It was taken from the Superb section of ELSA, the Octavia may have it's own codes :)

If you use VIN.SU you will get a full report on the vehicle usually about 4 A4 size printouts, extremely small charge but instant report.
