Todays problem...

Collected my Yeti last Thursday, done 600+ miles in it so far behaving very well and the Maxdot is showing over 46mpg (not thrashing it, but a big variety of roads) however..

I managed to pair my mobile (HTC Hero) with the BT no problems and works really well, but... It says in the hand book the connection will remain until the ignition key is removed, mine disconnects as soon as you turn the engine off, which means I have to either have the engine running, or at least have the ignition on all the the time to make phone calls via the BT, there doesn't appear to be a 'accessory' position on the ignition switch it's either ' on or off' daft thing is the radio will play without the keys in!! Any suggestions ???

Incidently managed to pick up a 'permanent live' off the wiring to the cigarette lighter so I can run the hands free mount etc.

My phone connection remains intact until I remove the key ... and I've the same model of Yeti as you. Unless they've changed something in the specs since mine was built yours should do the same. I'd have it looked at.

It might be the bluetooth on the phone. some phoes have 'interesting' BT connections. My old Treo 650 was one of those. The iPhone can be, but my current iPhone 4 (my 5themoticon-0140-rofl.gif) with the latest firmware is perfect.....

Just a quick question, on your iPhone 4, do the << II >> buttons finction when you play media from the phone?

I remember seeing my buttons light up once, but have never done so since

Have just checked my Bluetooth connection, phone (Samsung Wave)connects when I insert key and start up, if I turn off the ignition and leave the key in it remains connected, it only disconnects when the key is withdrawn. I tried it 5 times and it failed to keep its connection once when I turned off and left the key in, I then merely forced the phone to reconnect.

PS. If your location is South Cheshire we are not far away near Bridgemere.
