What a lowered Yeti looks like (in GREEN!)

Featured Replies

I would imagine a Yeti vRS would look like this (with 18" wheels and a few other bits of bling of course):

Looks good in green - like that.

Like you say though, it needs larger wheels for an added bit of sporting credentials emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Interesting, I think I prefer the higher ride height, but I do like the idea of a VRS Yeti!

Is that malachite or amazonian green?

How much lower than standard do you reckon that is? It doesn't look too low.

I think it handles fine as it is anyway, plus lowering it you'll only take away some of the Yetis offroad ability.

i quite like the idea.

needs bigger rims though.

you could always go down the air suspension route?

increased ground clearance offroad and lower it right down for givin it welly on tarmac.

maybe have it in race blue too?

And make it perform like a RR did on top gear whilst having tattoo....emoticon-0140-rofl.gif

The give-away is in the number plate with H&R on it; but I can't find any info on their website.

However Eibach do a lowered spring set for Yeti with around 30-35mm lowering, details here;- http://performance-suspension.eibach.de/cms/products_pro_kit

As for the look with 18s how about this, standard suspension though;-

However, IMHO, lowered suspension on a Yeti detracts from its essential 'Tonka Toy' 4x4 look and the handling (on the road) is great and beautifully balanced anyway. ;)

Lowering? Not for me.

Amazonian. Malachite is darker.

Two routes to modify a Yeti:

1) Do what the Fabia guys are doing with super low suspension and stretched tires on BBS RS.

or

2) Fit some 15 inch steelies and fat tires and raise the ride height. Just my opinion
