New bits for my Fab - good day!

Featured Replies

Had my 2 rear shockies replaced last week by my mechanic mate.

OSR now has an annoying rattle so took it into Skoda today for a look (they needed to see on the car in case it was a warranty claim on the part).

Doesn't look like the shock, more likely the top mount nut so I ended up paying £25 and no resolution.

Wasn't a complete loss tho, as I was leaving, one of the mechanics came over and told me he is trading his Fabia in for a Passat on Saturday (new baby = bigger car) and did I fancy buying some of his mods.

So after he finished work, I drove down to meet him and we set about replacing some of his modded bits with my standard stuff.

Got home tonight with colour coded grille (black magic), aero rear wiper, pop out cup holder, new rear shelf (mine was broken) with under shelf cargo net, and a nice rubber boot liner.

I got the lot for around what I was thinking it would cost to get my grille painted so I am really chuffed!

Cheers,

Steven
