Featured Replies

Well almost a week has past since I picked up my 60 plate Yeti,so here is my first mod....bumper trim strips..

Nice!

I hope you've secured them with more than the supplied double sided tape - otherwise you may find them missing :(

'Tiger Seal' or similar will fix them securely

Yep - i have only got one left!! Makes the car unbalanced. lol

I think a set of collies, a bigger turbo, some porsche turbo alloys and a remap should have u in good stead for mud plugging and traffic light grand prix!

Freashacre, i seriously suggest you replace that missing strip ASAP, unbalanced weight can lead to unpredictable handling and evenutally a written off Yeti!!! act swift dear x x x  :peek:

And this from a person who drives an MR2 ROASTER!!!

(see his car on the left!!)

I got the dealer to fit them when the car was supplied new as I thought they reduced the visual impact of the 'Bruce Forsyth' chin and widened the lower front appearance. This was the first Yeti the garage had done and they had to buy in solvent cleaner and fixative to do the job. When I hit a deer at 70 mph the bond was so strong that they remained on the crushed bumper despite one of the trims being broken in half. When I got the car back from the accident repair firm they posted new trims for me to fit saying that they were self adhesive. I took them to the dealer to fit.

Thanks for pointing out my typo... will change imminently

i think this small mod makes a big difference.

i've just ordered similar but in shiny metal along with the strips to go in the centre (http://milotec.de/popup_image.php?pID=2474&imgID=0).

Have also just received Stainless steel rear bumper protector (http://www.superskoda.com/Skoda/Yeti/Skoda-Yeti-STAINLESS-STEEL-rear-bumper-protective-panel-KI-R) and also stainless steel strip to go above bumper (http://www.superskoda.com/Skoda/Yeti/Skoda-Yeti-stainless-steel-upper-rear-trunk-lid-Martinek-Auto).

UNFORTUNATELY, I'M STILL WAITING FOR A YETI TO PUT THEM ON!!!
