Silver vRS - looks ok ?

Featured Replies

Well picked up my silver vRS estate yesterday, a few reservations about going for silver but very happy with the looks to be honest, haven't had a silver car for ages and wanted a lower maintenance colour for a change.

Not much to add about what has already been said about the vRS, great fun to drive, comfortable, seems well built, and loads of room for our needs.

Ordered in late January and was almost starting to lose interest, but very glad I didn't cancel it now.

Quite like the 'black pack' but surely they should have done the rear lights as well ??

Anyway a few pictures :

Have to say the black pack looks amazing on a silver car, one of the most strikng vRS's I've seen in ages I must say.

Thanks folks, quite surprised at the attention it seems to draw on the road too !!

First Skoda and genuinely impressed with the whole experience so far, apart from the delivery times but I don't think they're the only manufacturer with UK delivery issues at the moment.

Looks fantastic. The only colour that truly suits the dark chrome wheels

That looks absolutely spot on

It does look fantastic in silver and with the black pack  . Nice to see yet another one of us has been to ambassador mats as well ;)

That looks really really nice, the red trim is way better than the grey too IMO... so glad to have that colour interior coming on mine.

The black pack is such an improvement lifting the vRS away from the other models!

me likey ! front end looks really mean with the black pack.best of luck with it

Looks tidy

Very nice.

Looks very nice!! You right, it would of been better if they smoked the rear lights too

Wow looks amazing with the black pack. Enjoy it.

I like the way you seem to have abandoned your shopping trolley

Awesome car mate. As you say, silver is low maintenance and quite rare so far.

Really liking that mate, great colour choice

Thanks again, yes I think I'll look into doing something with the rear lights, not sure if you're allowed to just put a window tinting film over them maybe ??

The Ambassador mats are well worth it I think, look very good quality -great tip from someone on here a while back.

Off out for a blast now !!

Cheers.

I like it, looks good :)

Not so keen on the rubbing strips, need to see a set painted to sway my thoughts on them.

if you're thinking of tinting you're back lights the best option is probaly a product called lamine-x,I'm sure eBay sell it.you can all kind of diff shades.the only thing you need to be careful with is the reflector part of the light.mot fail if no reflection.but you could buy theses little reflector sticks from halfords and stuff and place somewhere

Very nice in silver I'd have had the same combination on a hatch :D

Being a 'silver' man myself gonna say excellent choice. Looks really nice and enjoy the car.

For me with the silver i prefer the silver grill but like the black lights better - must see if i can get the black pack lights if not too expensive :):giggle:

Keep us posted on how you like the car.

Sandy 59, that looks really good, not usually a fan of silver but it looks good on your car.

Out of interest I see you have headlight washers, did you also spec curve projector headlights?
