Anyone tried to see if genuine Skoda badges with the new logo will fit in the existing recess and mounting holes?

Want me to phone the local dealers and try and get them to measure one? What are ours at the moment?

Dunno mate. Could ask them to compare old and new?

What am I missing? Only new badge I've seen is on the concept car, Skoda Vision D.

Bluvrs has ordered a full set for his pre FL mk2, comprising front and rear and all 4 wheel badges, just under £60 for the lot iirc ( ) he has been assured they will fit as nothing has changed between the pre FL and FL in respect of badge sizes and fitments. The only thing is they won't dispatch them until they have been fitted to new cars.

For those who don't know this is the new badge......

Obviously this is a rendering, I think the actual badge will have the green arrow, which is a shame as this monochrome version would suit my car lovely.

I may or may not *ahem* have got both designs (mono and with green) in production from my current GB.

Admittedly won't be a patch on OEM badges but still

Looking at that, I think they have missed one out. What was the logo between 1991 and 1998?. I'm sure they did a logo marking 100 years of Å koda which I think had a reef around it.

Thats the badge fitted to all current models, and my neighbour has a Y reg Fabia with it also. The type with 'Auto' written around the bottom is displayed outside the stealers but not made as a badge - not in the UK anyway - unless you do it yourself!!

So the conclusion is that the new logo badges, whilst not being available yet, fit in place of the existing badges?
