Who's Got Wet Seats

Featured Replies

Woke up this morning to find my front windows have automatically come down during the night, so now i have some lovely wet seats, I put them back up went and dropped my bike off for MOT and when I came back they were down again, can anybody help what would cause it?

Check the unlock button on the remote is not sticking down (or keys being sat on etc) as this will open the windows.

I had this on my old polo. The lock barrel was full of crud, and the slightest movement would cause it to stick in the unlock position, making the windows drop with the auto open function

cheers guys, keys weren't in my pocket at the time and the buttons are fine, ill look at the barrel though, nothing came up on VCDS either, but when i was sat in it using VCDS the doors kept clunking like it was trying to lock and unlock especially when I moved the drivers door but it stopped doing it when the car was running

Sorry to (sort of) hijack post but can I just clarify - holding unlock button down opens windows? Does it work the other way too, I was always jealous of people who could do their windows up by locking their car!!

Sad I know :)

Doesn't work on the Fab with the keyfob, but turning the key in the lock and holding it does lower both windows.

^^ And raise them ;)
