New seats fitted

Featured Replies

Had enough of trying to keep the white seats clean, so I've bought some new ones and fitted them today. :)

They're from a Polo TDI Sport and so are pretty much identical to the Fabia vRS, except they are in black, are a bit more supportive (probably because they haven't done 94,000 miles), and I now have the added bonus of the passenger seat being height adjustable, the drivers side has a proper drawer instead of the cubby, a 3rd rear head rest and the rear armrest/cubby thing.

One slight niggle is the rear seatbelts clips don't line up with the holes in the bases. I expect they revised the position of them slightly as they were from a car that was a fair bit newer than mine.

They appear a lot lighter in the pictures than they actually are.

Nice job Sam

And that's a fooking great height lever on the side of the fronts

Look good actually!

How much did they set you back if you don't mind me asking? Wonder how they would look against red or other colours?

Haha yes well parked on a hill, I like to make sure.

One of my workmates had his car roll down a hill and smash into another car

Yeah I'd say it's a little bit better. Not that the Fabia seats didn't have any, I think these are just a bit firmer due to less miles.

They cost enough, but it's my birthday in a couple of weeks, so I thought I'd treat myself :D

Nope, they're out of a 9N3 Polo TDI Sport so bolted straight in with no mods of brackets etc

i do like them :)

Very nice. I'm actually jealous and I have leather!

I've finally been able to put my finger on what's different about them.

The bolster on the vRS seats goes all the way up to the top, where as my new ones don't.

That said, it's exactly the same story with the Mk2 vRS as well.

They look really nice. Has anyone tried fitting Fabia MK2 seats in a MK1?
