Ordered an Octy Scout in December and it has just arrived in the country! Still not with the dealer yet but I am daring to hope I can collect it at the weekend, or early next week.

Anthracite with MFD, MFSW, elec heated mem seats, auto headlights, Parrot MKi 9200, Spare wheel, and probably other stuff which time and the memory have long since forgotten......

First new car and it has been a wee trial getting hold of it.

Heard today that if I had ordered a leather interior then I would have had an extra 4 month wait! That means that the cows supplying the hides would not have been born when I ordered the car.

Oh well, it is a year newer, worth more than I paid for it already and if my mate Jasper is right and he has a new one, they are well worth the wait.....

The winter is now welcome to arrive.

I thought the Scout came with auto headlights (and wipers) and the steel spare as standard?

the auto-headlights came indeed as standard on my Scout but the spare steel only comes as standard when ordering a false floor.

Unless its changed spare is still an extra, even if you have the false floor

I was just curious as my Scout was a nearly new ex-Skoda UK car. It wasn't until I'd owned it for a little while that I realised it had some unusual options such as xenon headlights.

It also has a spare wheel so that too must have been a cost option from new.
