Those little hook things ...

Featured Replies

... in the boot for hanging shopping bags on. I fold them down, horizontal, to put bags on, and leave them that way. However, they always seem to turn themselves back upright, vertical, when they're not being used. I thought it was SWMBO 'tidying up' for a long time, but she denies it. Is it just me?

Must be you, Bob.

Mine are always clipped "down".

It will be the elves. Mischievous little things. Them or Mr Nobody who, as everyone knows, does all sorts of mischief.

Perhaps it's my dog who moves them?

It can't be elves, as they are frightened of yeti's.

Mine stay put in the horizontal position too.

There are locating slots on the back of the mounting rail to stop the hooks sliding back and forth so maybe, just maybe, you are putting the hooks in between them and the extra pressure is causing them to flip up?

Just a thought

Oooh ... thanks for that, I'll have a look!

... No, don't think so ... they just seem to be 'loose'?

Mine stay horizontal too, BUT I prefer them out of the way normally and when you put them vertical they don't really feel as securely fastened... Hmmm. But having a spare wheel they are of little use anyway apart from the smallest of Indian takeaways! :giggle:
