Implausible signal - exhaust pressure sensor

Featured Replies

Long story but have been experiencing a lot of problems with the above. I've had the emissions light come on and so far 2 sensors have only fixed it on a temporary basis before it comes back on eventually.

Here's a print out of the log:

I have no loss of power, no DPF probs (seeing as I've had it taken out in a hope it would sort it!) and no limp mode. The only thing I have had (since my DPF removal and remap) is some smoking on idle which goes away once the code is cleared. I think the main problem is that it's intermittent and doesn't happen every time I do something.

Anyone shed any light on where I need to be looking or any others experienced the same? I'm loathed to throw more money at it to get it fixed and am thinking of leaving it - will this do any damage at all?

Thanks

Typically its a new G450 sensor.

But I guess it could mean bad remap, because in your log's it seems to be 0 mbar every time, and thats a no-go. If the remap does not take into consideration that G450 will almost always give 0 mbar after DPF removal, you will end up with this.

How is the DPF removal done ? Is it just a straight through ?

It was done by Shark Performance who have done it before with no issues.

I know it's not the remap that is throwing up the error as it existed prior to the DPF removal and remap. I was told (incorrectly but not by Shark!) that the work would get rid of the problem.

It's going back up next week to be checked over and hopefully they can find the culprit!
