Hi ive got a Oktavia mk 11 2.0tdi sport 06 my engine light came on and got my friend to plug it in and the following codes came up 17075 -engine cooling blow on motor 1-short to earth= wiring short to earth ,engine cool on blow on motor

19557 intake manifold air control actuator-short circuit to earth=wiring short to earth ,intake manifold air control actuator

19558 intake manifold air control actuator -no signal =wiring open circuit ,intake manifold air control actuator

i appreciate any help or advice you guys can give me on this it would be greatly appreciated thanks for any time you can spare .

Hi Gearo,

It could be what I had on mine, it turned out to be the Intake manifold flap actuator. £12 to buy, but the manifold has to be removed to get it fitted. So about 1.5 hours in labour. I hope this is the same codes, but My Indie cleared, so I cannot say exactly. But from memory, the error seems the same.

Or you could have a Jammed Flap.

If it is what I had, Disconnect the vacuum pipe at the actuator (Left of the manifold, near the front of the engine) aand suck. If you find you are sucking air (like through a straw) the actuator is no good.
