I am trying to fit led bulbs to the courtesy lights either side of the sunroof but can't seem to get the fittings out to change the bulb. They seem to be firmly fixed in place. Is it just a case of using brute force of is there a secret method I am missing?

Secret method you are missing; but let me try and explain;-

You need a small flat blade screw driver, inserted from the front of the car, to compress a spring that acts like a 'barb' inside the fitting, and then lever the fitting out front edge first.

Full ElsaWin details to follow in a while.
