Many pictures of the Yeti in Lava Blue with Silver roof - looks quite smart! :)

I'm starting to like Lava Blue - even with silver roof.

Generally I do not like silver roof RAILINGS, but when the roof is silver it's not too bad.

What do You think?

Would black railings look better?

I must admit I'm not totally sold on the contrasting colour roof thing yet, suppose I would need to see a few examples in the flesh to decide. It's funny how colour trends seem to work in cycles as I well remember my parent's Hillman Minxes in various colour combinations in the sixties and to be honest the single colour version of the car looked drab in comparison.

I do love the two color options on Yeti. However the Lava Blue is very poor substitute for the Storm Blue for me. Perhaps I will fall in love with Malachite Green with Beige roof instead :p

I saw an Octavia in Lava blue pass me yesterday. I like it. Far less black looking than the previous blue effort the Yeti was saddled with. There is at least some play with light in this colour and it is not just a big black dark hole sucking all the light.

But a silver roof? I'm not so sure.

I like the blue. I like the two-tone in principle, but I think it works better with some colours than others. I liked both the white and the red cars with black roof that someone recently posted were available in Czech Republic. Not so sure about this silver over the blue. I've recently seen a garish green Fabia VRS with a white roof that is strangely attractive :o

That green is called Rallye green and I'd LOVE a Yeti in that colour. Even with a white roof and then white steel winter wheels!!! Will look ace I think.

Oops.... Hiding in my corner now. Hehehe

Now THAT'S a really nice colour combination and I LOVE it.

Isn't it interesting how all our tastes vary ... which no doubt is why we've moved on from "you can have any colour you like as long as it's black".

I like the silver roof it should be a UK option along with a black roof which also looks good.

You can have it... Just find a vehicle wrapping company and pay for it.

As a bonus it will protect the roof from bird deposits too

This Lave blue colour is growing me I have to say:

It reminds me of Renault Lazuli blue which was a very popular colour on the Clio.

But what a shame the ends of the roof bats and aerial are also not in silver, that would be really stylish.

That is the main reason why I think silver roof rails look very peculiar: the ends are black!!! No, no, no!
