After a very painful and fraught 6 months (nearly to the day), my time with the Audi is drawing to a close :'(

That's because the Superb is being delivered Lease company have confirmed that it is in stock with the dealer and ready for delivery. Earliest they can deliver is next Tuesday - this could be the longest 7 days of my life!

I've asked if they can do it sooner or let me collect direct from the dealer. Really can't wait now

Well rather than start a new thread I thought I'd just post up again in here.

The Superb has arrived - 2.0 CR SE Combi in Candy White:

The only extras I've had are heated front seats and sunset glass. Only driven round the yard but first impressions are excellent - seating position is good, seats are comfortable (liking the half leather!), and the room in the back (jeez).

All in all I am very impressed, which isn't bad considering that until now I haven't driven a Superb let alone sat in one. I ordered based on 3 things - firstly the excellent reviews that the Superb has been getting in the motoring press, secondly I've had Skodas before (2x Octavias) so know what to expect and lastly, the help, advice and pointers have got from members on here

I'll have some more thoughts tomorrow once I've driven it a bit - off to Manchester tomorrow so keep an eye out for me, Brisky sticker is ready and waiting at home to go in.

Heated seats are lovely.......my Fabia (MKI Elegance) has them as standard and they are great in winter as also the lower back is heated......helps ease my back problems!!!!

And you bought without sitting in one??!!!!...

As for the rear room........I had a play with them in the local showroom......opened the rear door and though "the front seats way forward"...so got into the front seat and set it right for me by pulling it further forward !!!!(it was all the way to the rear)....then had a look in the rear....... .....then as it was a leather one in an estate I started thinking about all the fun you could have in back.....hello ladies!
