This is my third Skoda since 2001,

Collection day was interesting, when I arrived at the showroom it was snowing quiet heavily and it had settled. Driving home in the new car with DSG in a blizzard is an experience I would never like to repeat. We made it home safely none the less.

During May 2010 the car visited Shark Performance where on a open day a remap was installed which transformed the car.

Then came the first trip to the Costa Del Sol in June 2010. During this trip the superb performed faultlessly.

Over 3 weeks the car travelled via Calais, Rouen, Le Mans, Bordeaux, Madrid down to the Costa del Sol where the car visited Gibraltar, Granada, Fuengirola, Malaga, Marbella, Nerja, Salobrena, and other small towns. In total the car travelled 4225 for the entire trip.

July 2010 and the car was detailed by Baker21, and having just completed the trip to spain he had his work cut out. The results were amazing as the thread on detailing world shows.

Not much happened for a while, I have moved house and then in June 2011 the car made its second trip down to southern spain and this time the Costa De La Luz.

Travelling down via Calais, Bordeaux, Salamanca to a town named Gibraleon which is between Seville and the Portuguese border. The trip down took 2.5 days, and once there a lot of miles were covered.

Enduring temperatures as high as 42c the Superb was faultless, and even had some admiring looks from the Spaniards as there are not that many about over there.

in total 4400 miles were completed in 3 weeks, using 10 tanks of diesel.

October 2011 and the Superb paid a visit to jersey, it was a great day and warm which is unusual for October. The trip was only for a day, so 4.5 hours each way on the seacat and a whole day to shop and explore.

November 2011.

Now on 41K miles, the Superb is running well, and once again the damp weather at this time of year is taking its toll.

I live on a farm down a muddy farm track, and as a result the superb is now rather muddy on the outside but is still spotless on the inside.

My annual mileage has more than halved since I bought the car, and it now does around 6000 miles per year instead of the 20K plus I was doing before.

I love that colour on the Superb, suits it really well

Although I'm not a fan of the saloon/hatchback Superb - in that colour it looks totally different and it suits it

Stunning colour and some epic road trips

Late December 2011, Check engine light come on and in typical fashion the warranty has run out. Camshaft Position Sensor and Exhaust gas pressure sensors have failed.

So 2 sensors later and £100 down and all is good once more.

4th Jan 2012, I sold the car and have replaced it with a 10 year old Audi A8 as a stop gap measure.
