My cousin has a 2003 Seat Leon cupra. He lost the key, so dropped it to dealers to get a key made from them and programmed. All went good, key is programmed and starting the car, but does not lock the car with the fob. The previous key would lock the car and open it aswell as start it!

Can any one give me any ideas of what it could be, otherwise il have to tell him to get a alarm fitted to do the central locking.
