How to enable AUX-IN option in "Blues" Radio

Featured Replies

In an Octy the Aux in is in the arm rest between the front 2 seats. If you do not have one of these then you will not have an Aux In even if it is an option on the stereo.

Hi,

I drive the "cheap" version of the Octavia II (2011). This is equipped with the Blues Radio (https://mediaportal.skoda-auto.com/resource/documentation/manuals/en/Yeti/05-2009/Radio/A-SUV_Yeti_Blues_CarRadio.pdf).

Since no armrest is installed, there is no AUX-IN socket. On the other hand, the Radio system itself does have an AUX-IN port on the rear side. However, this option is not enabled on the stereo.

In the Radio's owner manual it is clearly stated that pressing the 'CD' button twice should select the input source to be the AUX-IN port, but on this car it doesn't.

It looks like this is something which is activated (or enabled) through the VCDS. Would someone happen to know which code needs to be changed, and in particular which byte?

Thanks in advance!

I'v the same problem in my car, and I think the one who can solve this is a car dealer or garage, They have got the original VAG device it's some thing like VCDS but I think it's only with authorized dealers
