Nope, there is a link on here somewhere to the new rules, but i`m not looking for it again lol. The key bit is "IF FITTED" ie they dont have to be.

and yeah the build quality sucks, ill defo try and replace them with standard oem xenon if i can at some point, but for the price i can justify just putting these in the bin at a later date

don't get me wrong they're good for the price and will do as a temporarily job but i wouldn't expect them to last very long.

The new edition of the MOT testers handbook for 1st January is available on VOSA. See google for the best links.

Washers and levellers have to work if fitted. No requirement for them to be present though.

From what I've gathered, the dipped beam pattern test is likely to be more problematic (for those running HID bulbs in standard lights). Details of the tests for that are also in the handbook.

Yeah guys remove me from the list. After seeing Luke's I doubt I'll bother, gotta be worth waiting for OEM Xenon's to come up and these really aren't worth the money in my eyes...

Whats wrong with the build quality? Only a few days ago you said you loved yours. The build quality is as good as the standards that come out of mine. As for the mounting brackets you must not know how to install them

Properly without breaking them. Mine are in no issues at all
