I HAVE JUST PURCHASED 07 VRS LAST MONDAY AND JUST TRIED TO OPEN BONNET, SEEMS TO HAVE RELEASED CATCH AT GRILL BUT BONNET SEEMS TO STILL BE LOCKED SHUT! ANY IDEAS.

When the bonnet releases You SHOULD have a lever pops out of the front grill, (top left) which you pull forward to release the catch

Unless it is stuck, you can see it and try to pull it forward with a screwdriver or long nose pliers

If purchased from a garage, ask them to open the bonnet for you.??

Interior leaver pulled and engine compartment leaver popped through grill and seems to have released catch but still locked shut! booked it into garage next week.

Hi did u manage to get it fixed?

Thanks Guys Skoda garage opened it after removing headlight to get access.
