Well I have gone and done it now. Picked up a new Candy White Octavia vRS 2.0 TDi DSG 170 today from Sherlodge Garage with:

Xenons

VRs leather upholstery

3 spoke multi function steering wheel with Paddles

Phone kit

Auto dimming rear view mirrors etc

Spare wheel

Reversing sensors

Having to give back my company MY10 L&K, I am both ecstatic and suprised at the level of fit and finish in the vRS in comparison. The car feels much better to drive in town as well as on the motorway, everything feels a lot tighter. The car looks great with the Xenons and the LEDs on, I may have to have these on all the time.

When compared with my old vRS it's like chalk and cheese. The car feels a lot smoother and so well screwed together, I just love driving it. The leather seats feel fantastic, really comfortable and soft but supportive around bends. I like the fact Skoda have ditched the old silver dash surrounds for the carbon effect ones.

I have just got rid of my mk6 golf gti. Still live in dubai but coming back to uk next few days, ordered a new VRS cr170 man h/b, comes mid Jan and I really hope it has the carbon trim.

You may also be one of the lucky ones as there is a shortage of Bolaro units, so they are fitting Sat Navs at no extra cost. At least that is what I have been told.
