ipod

hi guys thinking of buying a ipod wot will i need and how do i put in the car radio thanks pete

My mp3 player connects with a cable like this one to an aux socket near the cigarette lighter (07 Roomster Style).

You can use the AUX, butthen you will have to control the music from the iPod. If you want to control the music directly from the radio unit (or even the steering wheel if you have the multifuntion wheel) you need to look for a MDI upgrade,

hi raz wots this mdi upgrade and wot will it cost me thanks pete

mdi mean you can control the ipod via the stereo and steering wheel controls, and u can see the name of the tracks on the speedo area between the dials.

If you are going to use iPod a lot, MDI is worth the cost. If you connect the iPod to Aux, you get sound to car stereo, but you need to choose the tunes from iPod. With MDI you control the iPod directly from the car stereo and it also charges while connected.

was a factory fit option...still is......you will need the parts and cables..it sits below the lower glovebox...or just get a good Pioneer single DIN headunit???....cheaper and much better to control/alter the sound...and full bluetooth/ipod etc..... B)
