i have a mk1 octavia elegance tdi 110 that wont communicate with a hand held vag diagnostic and has no EML (im 99% sure it should have one as the taxi the wife drove had one and so do the other octavia taxis where we are) dose any one know if this could have been done to hide something? as i think it has but since it wont communicate with a had held could this be the same for vcds?

not sure if i know some with vcds, i doubt it but no way im paying a dealer to look into it.
