I thought I'd post here as well as the national thread, as the race is happening in the south east As last year I've managed to negotiate a preferential rate for forum members for a limited number of hospitality places at this event.

James and I go every year to the DTM at Brands Hatch its a brilliant event with top drivers and cars, we use At Pole Position Hospitality who really look after us every year.

I've been negatiating a preferential rate for forum members for this years race and I’ve just received an email from Steff at Pole Position with the final details.

He’s come up trumps with a mega deal for us

The date is 20th May 2012

This is fully inclusive of everything which includes:

Circuit entrance

Full use of a hosted ground floor hospitality suite and outside terrace (for those that came along last year it will be the suite to the left of the main suite, providing us with considerable space.

Full buffet lunch, mid morning afternoon snacks and tea etc

Full complimentary bar

VIP Parking

Complementary programme.

Total cost £80 (This is a £30 saving over the normal price)

As usual James and I will be there, watching proper cars driven by proper racing drivers made even better with the addition of BMW this year.

Well done Richie, its £80 per place. Steff has emailed me again today, it looks like the three way fight between Mercedes, Audi and BMW has attracted quite a bit of interest. Unbelievably he only has 18 places left so its going to be on a first come, first served basis.

With Bobsta there are 9 places left!! ( I can't believe I'm typing this!)

Last year, we made our own way to the suite which is very easy to find. The event tickets are notorious for being sent out at the last minute by the DTM organisers, Steff gets them out as soon as he gets them, along with an information pack, directons, all your passes etc, hopefully about a fortnight before the event. There will be a contact number as well in case anyone gets lost between the car park and the suite. The carpark is around at the paddock entrance and is very clearly signposted you follow the signs that have the same shape on them as your passes.

Its very informal in the suite no dress code as such, casual is fine. I would suggest some warm items and a waterproof of some sort if it rains and you want to venture outside. There are some umbrella available if needed. I would strongly recommend ear defenders if you have some if not complementary earplugs are available!! James and I use ear defenders with a built in FM radio as you can now tune into the commentary. You wont hear it over the tannoy system!!

Machine Mart do them but if I remember from last year they wouldn't quite tune low enough into the frequency required. I've a set of Bilson Ear Defenders, I googled them and can't believe how much they are now - £100 from screwfix! - You can get a little circuit radio that clips onto your ear for £5 at the circuit so thats probably the best bet along with earplugs! paddock passes are not included in the hospitality pack and are available for £12 which includes a pit walkabout at some point during the day.

I've PM'd Cliff AGAIN!!! to check what the chances are of 'how fast' being on that Sunday. Trying to wait patiently for an answer as to whether I'm available or not.........

Had a response from Steff, I'll PM you all the account details for payment shortly. When you pay can you please ensure that you include your actual name and DTM as the reference. Please then follow this up with a brief email to Steff with your full name and address you wish the tickets to be sent to. ([email protected]) Please also indicate "paid" on the list in the thread once you have done so.

Tickets will not be available until approximately 3 weeks before the event. All tickets will be posted guaranteed next day and will need to be signed for on arrival.

There is no deadline for payment at the moment, though once Steff wants the numbers firmed up then one will be set. I would ask that you make your payment as soon as you can as I don't really want to spend masses amount of my time reminding people. If you decide that you do no longer wish to go then let me know as soon as you can as there are other interested peoples's awaiting in the wings.
