Skoda Fabia Dash insert EEPROM reprogram

Featured Replies

Hi All! im looking for someone that is able to reprogram the EEPROM in my fabia vrs dash as when installed into my standard 1.9TDI dash its fuel gauge works backwards (says full when its empty etc..)

if anyone can help that would be great!

Thanks!

It does work backwards, i found this when making the vRS estate, you need the tank sender from the vRS and it will work correctly.

There is a fuel gauge 'lookup table' in the cluster (0270h-027fh -> 0280h-028fh), but IIRC, you can't make it work in reverse. It's the same problem as swapping Mk.III and Mk.IV clusters. As far as I remember, most owners who did that, modded the gauge or let it run in reverse.

You could try PMing shark_90 as he may be able to help, but the obvious solution is to swap the sender as Tech1e suggests.
