Have you bled the PAS system of air fully?

hi there yes i have no air in there you can see it pumping round when you rev car

the pump is the same on most of them, the older ones have the press fit inlet and the later ones have a bolt in steel one. to bleed the system you need to go from lock to lock slowly at idle and hold it against the end of the lock for 5 seconds each way to force the air out. if you are stuck I may be able to find a alloy inlet.

the pas pump is the same on the aircon and non aircon models, it fits in a different orientation on the bracket though, on the aircon models the main outlet union faces forwards, non aircon models it's rotated 90 degrees on it's axis so the union faces downward.

The pump thats on mine came from a 6n polo 16v with afh engine code which also had aircon, and that is the same pump as the 8v engines fitted in a felicia.

Beware though, if you do get a pump from a breakers yard from a polo (which will be more common and easier to find) there are 2 types on a polo, one type is exactly the same as the felicia pump which has a banjo fitting, the other type uses flare nuts on the power steering pipes to fit to the pump.

P.s if there is any air in the system it won't be in the pump, it will be in the rack itself, do what jimbo says above, go from lock to lock and hold at each lock for 5 or so seconds each way. if you do it with the top off the reservoir you will be able to hear it gurgling as the air is purged. If the pump has run dry it will be dead in a matter of minutes so it's probably not worth fixing your current one.
