Mhey bin searching on google and found this site so i fort id ask a quistion and hopefully find out whats rong with my locking/alarm/windows. my central locking has never worked on the key but when i put it in the door and turn unlocks the door, when i get in the car there is a button to unlock all doors on the driver door this has stopped working this morning, also the button for the windows have swapped round on the drivers door (same time as door unlock/lock stopped working) i now can only open the drivers door and carnt unlock any other doors please help this is my first car and have owned it for 2 weeks now thanks grant

You need to get the fault codes read. Could be any number of things what car is it on? Sounds like a couple of problems either door locks or convienience/central electrics system playing up

Have a look at the VCDS members map, find someone near to you and speak nicely to them.

yeey fixed it, simply disconnected the battery for 10 mins and reconnected now works fine, just need to sort the knocking noise from the front now any ideas doesnt happen when turning ust if i hit pot holes or speed bumps etc thanks
