BMW E60 530D m sport

Featured Replies

I know its not a Skoda but thought i would place my ad up here in case anyone is interested, im on the lookout for an Octavia VRS mk2.

I am selling my much beloved car due to an expanding family, needs must. The car is a BMW 530D M sport 2005 on a 54 plate. The car has covered 64k genuine documented miles with full service history, mostly by eastern BMW in Edinburgh. This car cost over £40,000 brand new and I still have documentation s to prove this, along with an array of receipts for the work carried out over its life. This includes a recent service receipt which was a full and comprehensive one, costing over £360 including the crank case breather which cost £50 alone and is often missed from the service records. A new front spring has been fitted to the off side front, probably due to the amount of potholes in the road!!!The car past its mot in December without any recommendations and if anyone would like to check this it can be viewed online via the VOSA website. The car is taxed until end of June this year. Mot runs until 31st December 2012. t has 2 previous owners.

It has been fitted with the following extras

Full black Nappa leather

19” 172 original alloys with near new Toyo t1r on the front

Climate control

Auto wipers

Auto lights

Bluetooth hands free, compatible with iphone 4

Front and rear parking sensors

30% window tint

Detachable tow bar (I’ve never used)

As the car is manual it returns a very healthy average of 38mpg and ive had 44 on a long journey. It is washed and polished regularly with autoglym and meguiars and is in excellent condition. The car is situated in Dunfermline in Fife. Private plate not included in sale. I can be contacted on my mobile 07771847032 and my email [email protected] I will be happy to answer any questions, thanks for looking.

Price £8995 ono

Its oxford green, in certain lights it does look black. Dont want to price too high and yeah its an awesome car but needs must.

if this had been an auto i would have been tempted to do you a trade on my vrs mk2

its a great car but i get bored quickly, and it has been a year now.

What's the tax on this bad boy??

Do you have a VRS Octavia you'd like to shift?

The tax is £110 for 6 months I think and I'm sure it's £200 for the year. Tried a few autos but preferred the manual.

Tax on E60 530d's of this generation with 184g CO2 output is £115.50 for 6 months and the annual rate is £210

(there were numerous tweaks to the powerplant during production, for power and emissions reasons. The current 530d emits 162 g/km)

Best of luck with the sale. Lovely motor and Oxford Green is one of the best colours for them IMO emoticon-0148-yes.gif

cheers guys

would love this car, it's a stunner. GLWS bud, wish I had the cash.

hmmm had a E60 525d and miss it terribly!!!.

Either to be honest and don't mind petrol or diesel, you can let me know your thinking and if you would like more pics. Reg Docs came through today just waiting on v5.

some interior pics would be useful.

you say you want to change due to an expanding family.

surely the octavia is smaller than the bm ?

  • Author

The bm has more interior space for sure but the boot is where i need the room for pram and buggie, due to the rear wheel drive of the bm it eats a fair bit of space into the boot. I still havent advertised it anywhere than here and prob wont until next week as my wife is booked in to start her delivery of baby tommorow. Will miss this car though especially on motorway trips so smooth and loads of power when needed.
