Basically when I turn ignition of my fabia vrs just before starting the car

I get a short crunching sound coming from behind dash

If anyone could help tht would be great

Is it more of a squelching than a crunching that's just the diesel pump in the tank priming so don't worry

Fuel pump and lines. Every Fabia does it.

Is very loud on mine.

Is the fuel pump behind the dash??

Thought it was under the rear seats somewhere?

I get that sound, I traced it to under the gear stick handbrake area?

As long as everyone else gets it I'm not worried

Definitely coming from behind dash area tho

If its crunching it may need a new fuel filter as the diesel pump primes when ignition is activated as they ^ have said

Go out and record the sound. Wanna hear it now.
