YIPPEEEE, IT'S BACK, The BRISKODA trip to Prague

If you want to join the official Meet it starts at Dover Ferry Port in the early hours of Thursday 13th Sept and Finishes at Dover again for about midnight Thursday 20th/Friday 21st. (so make sure you book that time off work ) To Include the Nurburgring we have extended the trip by 2 nights so getting a ferry back to UK on Saturday 22nd September

I have just booked the hotel room for me and Paige, and everyone should all book the same hotel.

I recommend you find a group of 4 of you and booking a 4 Bedroom option, which is 2 Double Bed rooms sharing a bathroom and Toilet.

If you are also driving you can park in the secure underground carpark for £10.80 per car per night

The 4 bed option plus parking 1 one car for the 7 nights Arrive 13th Sept and Leave 20th Sept costed £400, prices may change if you dont book early

Oh yeah it has a Bar and Tram Stop right outside

Thursday 13th - Dover early hours for Ferry

Thursday 13th - Evening arrive at Hotel, catch a Tram to city centre to find a nice Restaurant

Friday 14th - Maybe Skoda Factory and Prototypes, then Mimon airfield

Saturday 15th - Doksy and Mimon Airfield

Sunday 16th - Prague city centre walkabout

Monday 17th - Loket Castle (they filmed the new Casino Royale there)

Tuesday 18th - Day trip to Poland, Auschwitz (early morning, long day, if you cant handle this, then you can have an extra day in Prague)

Wednesday 19th - Still to fill (I will let others decide as it is my Birthday)

Thursday 20th - Morning Leave Prague Head to Nurburgring

Saturday 22rd September Leave Nurburgring, Germany, Holland, Belgium, France

Saturday 22nd around 8pm back in UK.

I am hoping to find us a nice restaurant for each Evening, as eating out should be nice and cheap anyway.

a 4 person -2 room sharing bathroom thing works out quite good value when split out. 60 euros less 10% discount = 13.50 euro each!

On a side note, Ive stayed at that hotel before and its very good all things considered. It's no 5* fancy pants hotel but its a good location, easy to get around Prague, clean, functional, onsite bar and restaurant and secure parking.

I dont think you will be dissapointed with Will's choice

OK, I will knock the Nurburgring on the head this year (was planned for May) and show more interest in this. I want to take my car so looking for a passenger (only 1) between Devon and Dover and happy to share a 4 person setup to save dosh - I will cover the secure parking though.

Just done a budget and it looks like I'll need £315 just for fuel (which might be split a bit I guess)

The hotel bill of £105 for an entire week is looking good though! I don't want to book anything though until I know of a passenger for the mongrel (and driving ) and room setups.

Defo going on this trip if Nurberg is involved, just booked the time of work and waiting for the misses to book her time off! How are people goin about booking ferry tickets and hotel, have you just booked them straight of the website????

I will book with norfolkline nearer the time. Usually £50 return for anti-social hours.

Hotel will be booked once I establish the rooms / attendees setup as keen to a) take a passenger (who'll get to drive the mongrel a lot too ) and save room by using the 4 beds/2 rooms/1 bath setup.

wouldbe nice to have a plus 1 to save petrol costs im hoping to be stage 2 by then aswell.....so i shall overtake you all in one big go then youll overtake me 5 miles later whilst im filling up on fuel again :p also if you can drive i can take a break from driving and let someone else drive

i may be interested in this if the skoda factory and museum tour is a definate, because id like to see what its like. what route you thinking of driving to get there, the quickest lol. ou going through eindhoven into germany or through southern germany etc

Skoda Factory, Museum and hopefully prototypes is a definite trip, I just need to arrange a day with them, once I have a numbers of confirmed trippers.

I am planning a couple of stops across europe, just off ferry, before Germany and Czech border. Other than that it upto you where you go

if people are going is there a check list of things we need to take like passport etc is there gunna be a route for this so people have an idea of where they are going.

Looks like I have found a victim, i mean passenger for the trip.... So, which other +2 wants to share a 2 + 2 family room to save some serious wonga
