VRS solid engine light & flashing coil light

Hi everyone,

As the title suggests, this is my problem. I've read the other posts about this but it doesn't seem to match my fault code read by the AA.

The lights came on as I was accellerating away from some traffic lights. I had the AA out and they diagnosed fault code P0725 engine speed sensor.

However, it was showing as a historical code and the fault wasn't present. He cleared the code & I've since driven the car home without fault so far.

Any ideas and cost implications folks?
