vrs dash icon..

Featured Replies

Hi guys went to see a 05 vrs today and just wondered about one symbol that come up on the dash display..

its a red icon, looked sort of like a rear seat half folded, and it was between the temp and fuel dials..

drivers door open?

Rear seats not clicked into place properly/dodgy sensor for the previous at a rough guess.

Yep, sensor is on the locking loop for the rear seat on the drivers side.

I didnt know cars had sensors for the rear seats? Do all vrs's come with this?

Don't quote me on this but I think it's to do with ones that have three point seats belts.

Something discussed quite a few times much like the full sized spare wheel which still has a speed limit on it, few theories on both but no one is really sure.

Its the back seat behind the driver. Mine was flashing, just made sure seat was firmly clicked in place

Always does it under heavy braking!

Pretty sure thats right ross

my 04 plate only has a centre lap belt and has no warning

my mates 54 plate with a centre 3 point belt does

Yup 3 full seatbelts to let you know the rear seat isnt fixed back properly

Not true. My mates SE doesn't have it but has 3 point seat belt. Seems most common on 54-06 plate cars, but no real rule.
