Which DAB radio/CD/IPod player for 2005 Superb?

Featured Replies

Title was a bit long winded, so in summary – with the analogue switch-off fast approaching, what DAB player options do I have to replace the head unit in the Skoda Superb?

It's the standard factory fit, radio/cassette/CD multi-changer in the boot, but I want to be able to listen to the radio, CDs and preferably plug in my iPhone for music too.

Does the DAB radio need a special aerial fitted as well? Is the cost going to be worth it?

Any suggestions welcome as I have no idea?

I think it will be a fair while before the fm signal is turned off. If you want to change then most aftermarket manufacturers do a dab adaptor. Bear in mind that you will loose the maxidot information (radio station etc) in the top part of maxidot as there isn't an adaptor to make it work for the superb iirc!

Cheers Chris. I found out about 15 minutes after the first post that radio wouldn't be affected for a while.
