HI everyone, hope everyone is well!

Our 53 plate SDI estate seems to have developed a couple of gremlins and I'd appreciate any assitance you guys can give us on this one as electrics really isn't my strongpoint!

First the tailgate. Seems basically to intermittently not open with the micro switch but opens fine from inside the car.

Secondly the wipers suddenly decided not to work yesterday when the missus tried to use them. The only thing that happens is when she pulls the stalk toward her as if to wash the windscreen, the REAR wiper activates once. Yesterday on just one occasion when she pulled the stalk toward her the wipers activated but would still not work if the stalk was moved into a position to properly turn the wipers on.
