Temprature gauge in SKODA 1.4 2001

Featured Replies

Hi

I just bought a Skoda 1.4 2001. . ..had it serviced and they fixed a faulty temp gauge.

Drive it for 35 miles today and its staying just above the left hand white portion of the gauge.

Is this right or should it be in the middle?

ta

What temperature is that at? (no idea what the clocks look like on the 1.4)

They should stick at 90 degrees all the time, if it's stuck lower than that you probably have a thermostat stuck open.

It's the same clocks as any other petrol.

As above, it should be in the middle on 90

Air lock or stuck thermostat.
