Most parts have VAG stickers on as they're a common part. Usually only brand specific parts will have that brand's logo. So most of your dash will only have Skoda, but locks, seats, switches, engine parts etc will have VAG and all the logo's.

No, its on the back of the car under the key entry as a sort of 'advert' mentioning Volkswagen group.

Ill take a picture later. About 4 inches long in silver font.

They were quite common on the early Octavias, can't recall ever seeing one on a vRS

I remember i have seen these on early models.Its a small sticker that says Part of the Volkswagen group (i think)

Got the same one on the back my Fely! Although the Briskoda member I bought it off of has scratched the V, L and S off so it now reads "O.K. Wagen Group"

As mentioned...I also need a new Skoda badge for the back!

Forgot to reply to your pm m8, looking at it I seem to remember a dealership or something calling themselves Volkswagen group and I'm just wondering if its one of their stickers?

Surely if it was skoda putting them on they'd be a lot more running round?

Not too sure, I reckon it was VAGs attempt at a marketing exercise to promote the early VAG made Skodas to give the brand some consumer confidence...?

Here's the one on our Feli. I think a lot of Skodas in the late 90's had them. This was before they started with the "Oh no another great skoda" and "It's a Skoda...honest" stickers in the rear window. Yours is the only Octavia VRS I've seen with one though, might be because it's a Y Reg.

I also have the matching 'its a skodas, honest sticker too
