Can my fabia use e10?

The manual and fuel cap says no, but i recently found this article and want a second opinion, My car is a 2011 skoda fabia 1.2 tsi built august 24th.

Are the euro versions any different than Australian ones because im in Australia.

I wouldn't have thought so (I was in euro mode, we are all goint to 10% bio fuel, and all the cars will have to take it....) but I don't know about australia! you are more green than us though arn't you? ;) where was your car made? It may be different spec to UK cars, but it will almost certainly use the same manufacturing process (fuel lines fuel pupmps, injectors engine specs ect) so I would assume it will be fine.

I dont think we are as green as europe we still sell 91 octane. Though we have ethanol for years. It doesnt say were my fabia was built i think it was made 2010 or 11 its plated 11. Atahe filler cap says 98 octane and 95 in brackets. The ethanol we sell says 95 octane e10 they claim its 91 octane with up to 10% ethanol. Its the only place that sells ethanol here and its 10 cents cheaper per litre so you see why its tempting to use.
