Hi all,

Just been trying to order my new VRS and want it in Steel Grey metallic body with Black magic pearlescent roof. This is fine and acceptable on the uk configurator but my dealer says it is not a possible colour option when looking in the brochure and I can only choose the full steel grey colour option for the whole car.

Can anyone shed any light?

Suggest which is correct - dealer or online configurator?

My thinking is that the brochure is good from Nov 12 but the online configurator should be the most up to date.

No-one on here is going to give you a definitive answer to that,you need to phone Skoda Customer Services.

2 Skoda Dealers told me i could have Grey with Grey roof & then could not put through the order & could not care less, so i ordered a Grey SEAT.

When I ordered mine Grey was not a colour for the vRS. I know the roofs are only linked to certain colours. At the end of the day if the computer wont accept the order I guess thats the boss. Interesting to know how you get on.

The Configurator showing the different roof colour options on White, Black & Silver is only showing the £495 cost next to some colour combinations.

The others may become options with the passage of time in the UK.

£495 will get you a roof painted at a local spray shop or a Wrap on the roof.

Quick update after a call to Skoda Customer Services.

It is not a colour option and the online configurator is incorrect. Apologies given and and update to the website to occur.

So there it is,

A new VRS ordered in the fastest possible colour. Steel Grey all over
