I have Milltek - it doesn't sound chav, just a deeper note. You get a nice turbo whistile and it looks good too!

ive read threads about the sound b4 - anyone got an mpeg?

My full decat sounds nice now on full chatter. I'm SO looking forward to hearing it on full chatter once everything I'm doing, is done!

Should be something like Star's Fabia.

The attached archive contains a sound file of my Milltek'd Furby vRS being run up on a rolling road.

I've got the BF system fitted. Not sure how it sounds compared to the Milltek.. but when cruising along its fairly quiet - not much louder than standard but when you give it some stick its a bit more growly and is deeper in tone.

i also get a "whoosing" noise when accelerating hard which is quite loud with the window down and you can hear the turbo noises when accelerating with the window up.

certainly not chavish at all.. :D

 seconded... it does sound and look **** hot :D

Hi

We have done a few of these and have heard nothing but good reports about it.

It does sound good , but not too loud in the car.

The price is not too bad and you get the FULL system Turbo back.

Another point to make, it sounds completely different inside the car to outside.

Inside, it's a little louder but doesn't sound particularly meaty or throaty

Outside though (only heard it once at JBS when someone else with a milltek went bombing down the road) it sounds rather nice. Anyone near Berks is more than welcome to an audition, alternatively, several millteked furbies will be at brunters :D

Anyone got any sound clips of these??

I fancy one for my vRS but can't get it out of my head that a diesel engine is going to sound a bit ....... well.......crap with a free flowing system on. Not trying to ruffle anyones feathers, I just need to hear one to be convinced (I'm sure I would be) otherwise.

Cheers Folks

Tony

PS, NOTE TO SELF..... Read all posts before opening gob...... just noticed the zip file of one on the RR

any one got any better clips? cant really get to grips with that zip file sound! unless i drive in 1st gear for miles and miles :rofl: (scream engine scream)

Even that doesn't do it justice as the engine isn't really under load there. I've tried and tried to get a decent clip but I can't. Xav is right, it doesn't sound that much different in the car but it sounds superb outside without being boy-racerish and bursting your eardrums at 20mph...

is this your car walkie? or ross' old 1?

Neither...

Another Ross's :)

If the weather's nice, I may get one done tomorrow as a drive-by :)

I know of another local briskodian who may be up for it :D
