Featured Replies

Firstly, hope these 2 pics appear ok!

Held on with 3m tape, but worth the risk at £30

Makes you wonder at that price why Skoda didnt put similar on to start with

Time will tell how they perform, fingers crossed etc

I've been looking to fit these myself and wondered if they worked okay.

Let us know how they perform and where you got yours from.

Were they advertised as specifically for the Fabia, or VAG models in general?

A seller on ebay

If you remember a youtube video on here under a topic with 'tid styling' on it the box on the video had 'audi s-line' on it so I went along those lines

And no fabia listed on the compatible list

And vw stuff definately doesnt fit

If they didnt fit I were just gonna re-list them

Theres some on ebay from sz (maybe china) that have same fitting list and theyre £28

Some carbon fibre and a natty silver one

Just didnt fancy getting them from so far away

Just stuck em and will try out in 24 hours

Interesting, I like the look of these...

So the ones you bought - what were they sold as being compatible with? If they don't list Fabia as a fit, which ones did you buy?

Thanks!

The ebay title was audi s-tronic dsg paddles

(All audi)...

A3 (2006-13)

A4 2006-13

A5 2007-13

A6 2004-13

Tt 2005-13

Q5 + q7

There seems to be two different types on eBay.

One set for VW have grooves and seem to curve under the bottom of the paddles.

The second set for Audi are more flat with no grooves.

Which set fit the fabia vRS?

Look good, guessing they feel better than the cheap plastic ones too. :)

They probably are the plastic ones at that price, similar to those I have on the Octavia

The 'carbon fibre' referred to is really 'carbon fibre effect' vinyl

They do the job though :)

Even the shape may feel better than the tiny cheap plastic ones that are hidden behind the wheel.

ok so Ive had a quick go with them today and on the whole they are better than standard.two minor niggles  though - firstly if you use the top half of the paddle it just bends the paddle and doesnt select the gear.you need to use the bottom half for best results.

also the wheel feels slighlty more crowded than before, its not a problem as such but I am aware they are there, especially when lots of lock on.

thats probably something I will get used to though

I still prefer `d` for city driving (like where I tested today) but tbh I only really got them for when the road opens up a bit, back roads etc

They do look pretty funky.

Strange........mine work the whole length - little point leaving them on otherwise
