Dont be shy.

Someone must have had one done, or heard of or read of one done someplace in the world,

After all REVO are a big company and have been advertising a Stage 1 Remap for the CTHE for long enough now.

Surely someone bought the Services of a REVO Dealer and had a CTHE Twincharger Remap.

Come on now.

1,100 CTHE Twincharger Skoda in the UK,

& a few hundred VW Polo GTI, Audi A1 195ps & Seat Ibiza Cupra 2013 on.

Someone must have a Remap to Stage 1, or know someone other than the 1 car done at Eco-Tune in Glasgow.

Tell us about it please.

?

Which thread is it In, the 'Finally done'  one?

Do you have a Mk2 CTHE?

Is your car not a CAVE with a Replacement Engine that is a New CAVE or Refurbished & Hybrid CAVE / CTHE and then with a new ECU?

What code was your ECU, and what had the Skoda Dealership on it in the way of a map before you had it Remapped?

EDIT.

Sorry do you mean the Dyno shown on that companies Website, for a CAVE and now a CTHE car ?

Edited by goneoffSKion1

A new cave really. Is a new cave not a cthe. New engine wouldn't run on cave ecu. A new cthe ECU to run the new engine. Which u confirmed at the hotel at santa pod. To which u said it couldn't b remapped, cause it was a cthe ECU. Ecotune and APR said it was the first cthe ECU to be remapped in the UK.

And the question is about the first CTHE is the ECU on them which is different from on the later CTHE.

Tuning Box companies and the 4 Major Tuners that provide Services in the UK said they could Remap over 2 years ago,

then that they could via the OBD,

Then they could not do it opening a ECU.

So now that they can maybe they can put up a DYNO before and after of a November 2013 on CTHE with Stage 1 that they have done.

There must be some either in the UK or RoW that APR have done on a car said to have 180ps Minimum.

Somebody someplace in the world must own a car that has been done other than the 1 that Eco-tune Glasgow have done with a APR Remap,

and read this forum and be able to give their opinions of the before and after and since,

Are any of those Skoda Fabia vRS CTHE rather than Polo GTI or Audi A1 Twinchargers,

Are any of those Skoda Fabia vRS CTHE rather than Polo GTI or Audi A1 Twinchargers,

There are a lot less Fabia RS's in Australia compared to Polo GTI's and A1's. It took Skoda Australia almost 3 years to sell all of the 2012 cars they had in stock. To be honest most Fabia RS's are CAVE's here unless it was pre-ordered after mid 2012.

So I guess the answer is no but of course I could be wrong.

If all the Ecu,s were the same on the Seat,VW, Audi and the Skoda 2012 to 2014 life would be so simple.

Time to ask again.

Other than the 1 CTHE Mk2 Fabia vRS that was Remapped to Stage 1 at Ecotune Glasgow for someone not a member on here,

has anyone else in the UK had a Remap to CTHE Skoda that anyone knows of?

3 plus years on, has anyone had a CTHE remapped yet?

Very odd the lack of people having CTHE maps.

Id be tempted to do ours if I thought it might be up to it but on balance think I'll be leaving it alone.

There doesn't seem to be a lot of people modding these anymore (if the huge amount of tumbleweed blowing through this section of the forum is anything to judge by lol) so I guess the market is pretty small.

I just asked the question again because someone linked the APR site where they still say the can do a Remap via the OBD II port & that they can do the software for the DSG so that left foot braking is available.

When Dandanfings was wanting his CTHE done the dealer he was at could not even do it with the ECU opened,

and anyone else asking seemed to be told they could do a Fabia vRS CTHE, and then could not.

Just interested if APR can now actually do it, and via the OBD II port.

http://goapr.co.uk

(They show the Stage 1 still as on 98 ron for the 1.2TSI remaps & 1.4TSI / TFSI's, but last time i asked on the forum in the Performance Section where AwesomeGTI got 98 ron in the UK i was told they used 97 ron superunleaded, not even 99 ron.)

Nice.

Tell more, was it done via the OBDII port, and any dyno before and after done?

All well with it and worth the money, and any other mods done, intake, intercooler, and what plugs are you using?

Has anyone else here had a Mk2 Fabia vRS with a CTHE engine Remapped, and who did it.

Or anyone got a mate of a mate that has had, and you know for sure it was remapped?
