VCDS Steering Settings

Featured Replies

What section will it be under and is it worth making my vRS steerng a bit weightier? I like it how it is but just wondered if it would make it better.

I don't have VCDS but would like to know for when I get it done.

I believe its slightly different dependent on the age of the vehicle. I've done mine and another 2011 and the setting change for that is to change the coding on the steering assist module [44] from 11241 to 11221. IMHO it makes a not huge, but significant, difference in the weighting.  There's no way I'd go back to the original setting.

Done mine as it didn't feel planted in corners & it can make a big difference.

Had mine changed from normal to vrs setting. Its not alot different, just a little more responsive and sensitive at higher speeds.
