My 1st Service Which Dealer? (NorthWest)

Featured Replies

My 2014 Has hit the 10,200 mark and needs a service. which in your on opinion is the best to take my Vrs into?

I can recommend simpsons for the service dept. I hear the sales havent got the same reputation but I cannot fault the service dept. Simon and his team have been brilliant with me.

Have you chosen to have your car put on 'Fixed Servicing' rather than 'Variable' (Flexible) because it has a 'Service Plan'. ?

In my experience RRG in Rochdale are excellent and I'd never set foot in DM Keith again. Your mileage of course may vary.....

The Car having been set to 'Fixed Servicing', will be at 372 Days /9,400 miles (10,000),

But if the car can be set at & suitable or 'Variable Servicing', Flexible) with Long Life Oil, and a 2014 vRS can be, then that might suit Higher Annual Mileage users.

Don't go to Simpsons... read the reviews on here...

I'd recommend Claybank Motors, not the best looking, not the best set out but they do a damn good job and put the customer first.

As said earlier. Not a bad word to say about tje service dept at simpsons. I believe the bad reviews are for sales. And the old service team. Of which only 2members remain.

My gripe (a very big gripe, that eventually resulted in a new engine) was with the service department at the Colne branch.

But as said they dealer review section is the place to read :)

I use Preston. Possibly why we have different opinions. Downside to review threads is not many people think to review when its a positive experience. Good luxk with the search OP

I would avoid Lightcliffe in Warrington and Lookers in Stockport. Both useless.

Yup. Bought my car off lookers in stockport. They arent much use when it comes to servicing or warranty work.

Infact particular people there can be a PITA even when tryin to get basic warranty stuff done.

agree with you mate!
