Might be a bit late for that, I've ordered the car!!

Doesn't appear to be any option to test drive a vRS with the 19" wheels anyway unless I searched around dealers that happened to have one with the black plus spec available.

Seriously, I don't reckon you can tell the difference between them. If you can you're A) living in some seriously rutted roads, and/or B) a jellyfish :)

How did B turn into B)!? Bring back tapatalk, puh-lease!

Had them on demonstrator I had for a week too and I couldn't tell the difference in ride quality either.

A mate got his red VRS last week, black pack, and they make the car look completely different i.e much better than standard colour and size. He wouldn't even have considered the standard red car with the normal non coloured wheels, me neither. Same thing for the love it / hate it steel grey colour, looks pretty ordinary i.e boring and incomplete with standard non coloured wheels but with the 19s and their dark colour it looks awesome.

We had an Octavia VRS day at the dealers a few weeks ago and with about 20 ver III cars there of all different colours the 19s are definitely the way to go looks wise if you can afford them especially if your car is black packed.

I agree they look like dogs bo**ocks.

Not the way your thinking though. I'd expect to be paid to take a car with those wheels.

40 psi (2.75 bar). That's what the dealer recommended and I've had no reason to change it. I did get a nail through a rear and found out the tire pressure sensor got tripped when I dipped to 34 psi. Was good to find out it works!

40 psi - can I check in .. is this still the recommended running PSI for 19"s ?

The filler cap tyre pressure chart on my 230 is  "  19" Rims, normal loading is 39 PSi or 2.7 bar "

Whats the ride like on the Eibach springs? I do around 13-15k per annum so needs to be comfortable, but also handle well when I want it too.

Initially I didn't want them.

Then, after some discussion I didn't care and started looking at other features on the car whilst shopping for one.

When I eventually decided which car to buy, it happened to have the 19"  Extreme's. I've not noticed any real difference to the ride quality I had from my Mk2.5 on 18" wheels.

I actually now quite like the look of them - wasn't convinced until I actually had them.

*Edit*

And now I see this is a thread from 4yrs ago and I feel like a **** for posting in it!

i swapped my Geminis for Xtremes and there is no difference in road feel in real terms etc I live on rough roads and seriously you wouldn't notice anything at all no matter what the armchair experts say. They are both pretty firm.

Here's both my summer and winter sets....
ive painted the geminis and had them diamond cut. I'm not a fan of all black, IMO it doesnt suit the octavia.

I first thought that was some kind of joke, but no... Wow.

I know they are not everyone's cup of tea on the Octavia, but they look damn ugly on the Swift.

Hopefully Swift won't sell much, so you won't see them out and about - if I still add my vRS with Xtremes I would now be looking already for a good wheel to replace them.

I had a double take when I saw them on that car! I like them on the VRS personally althought Ive decided against them twice now (just dont want bigger wheels!). Must be a popular design, I saw these last night too...

The Smart ones are inspired, but the Swift ones are a carbon copy.

All proportions look the exact same as the Xtremes.
