Leather retrim

Featured Replies

I've done a search and not a lot has came up!

Has anyone had a leather retrim on the standard seats ? seat surgeons etc ?

I'm tempted more and more as there is loose ends of stitching on my monte seats so can't see them lasting long term :(

seat surgeons was the company to go for  with all the mark I guys, so still recommended.... I just bought seat cupra seats ;)

I believe they did the retrim in my MK1 VRS also, not factory as I first thought!

Was just trying to gauge an idea of what people may have gone for in their mk2.

I was thinking black with red stitching to match the steering wheel and gear stick

Whats the average cost of say a standard leather retrim in an average sized car?

Somewhere between £800-£1k iirc

Thats a lot of money.

Would be nice though...

Somewhere between £800-£1k iirc

thats cheap, it can be a lot more for leather depending on what you want

Seat Surgeons used to charge £750 for the Fabia, £850 for the Octavia, and £950 for the Superb - to which 20% VAT needs adding. Nappa leather (sourced from Scotland and the same grade used by Aston Martin) was an extra £500. Colour, panel design, stitching etc are infinitely flexible and seat heating can be specified too.
