mk2 vrs fabia strut brace

Featured Replies

just a quickie guys and gals its my birthday coming up and i wanna treat myself to a really nice engine bay strut brace (in red if available) just wondering if anyone knows of any and has experience in fitted one to there car :) ?

I'm sure somebody has done it before there on German eBay but you have to drill the top mounts/body to fit them

Do you have a rear arb on already? If not I'd start from there. Amazing difference, almost certainly much more noticeable than a front strut brace, oh and happy birthday!

^^^^ true ;)

I have looked for a strut brace too, and not found one!

Ebay 381086201840

good, but rear strut bar....

good, but rear strut bar....

the rear eBay 161517231629

maybe it was a german translastion issue then! lol..... at least there is one out there :)

havent seen anyone with a front one in the german forum , i know H&R was about to develop one , but i think they never did it

Also looking for a Front Strut Tower Brace myself to go onto my VRS.

My question is would a Strut Tower Brace for a Fabia mk.1 / Polo 9N / Ibiza mk.4 fit a Fabia mk.2?

I think its worth asking since the sway bars are the same.

I did find this one for the A1.

dont think the A1 would fit, unless you move your battery to the boot..

Interesting.... I have a smaller battery and CAI already and the oil filler cap is the highest point in the engine bay. However I think the bolt mounting points do not match after inspecting the Fabia. Hence cross the A1 bar off the list. No reason to rule out the mk.1 bar just yet though other then being in a bad spot to drill.
