Any way to turn off (or adjust the threshold) the winter tyre warning/speed limiter warning that triggers at 9.0 leptons?

Just play around in the infotainment.

Its somewhere under car -> settings (-> tyres?) .

I'm finding that goes for just about everything else too!

Yep. I find the interface quite easy to navigate, so its all easily available if you play around a little

Errr! Are we talking about the toilet paper ars......... no! Surely not! It must be some other interface.

I agree, also the glossy paper means what goes on slides straight back off.. :moon:

Wot's a lepton then - 9.0 or otherwise?

There are 2 speed warnings configurable.

One is for winter tyres which is configurable through the Entertainment unit. You can turn this on/off & select your desired speed for the warning.

 

The second warning is through the maxidot, if I remember correctly it is done through the Actual Speed display.

If you show the current speed in the maxidot, you can press and hold a button on the Wheel & it will set a speed limit warning at your current speed.

It was the either the right scroll Wheel or the info button on the left hand stalk.

I'd need to check the car tonight to remember which one.

 

My wife triggered this by accident & it took me a week to figure out how to turn it off..
