Heated Seat Switch

Featured Replies

Afternoon folks

On the way to work today, the switch for the heated seats has started to act up

When I press it forward into the 1 position, both the 1 & 2 light up

Normally it's just the 1 that lights up as per when I put it into 2 position

Anyone know if it's the switch at fault or something else.

Seems to heat up the same as it did in both positions.

Had the same problem with mine mate think it's the switch because I gave it abit of a knock and then it went back to normal

Ah ill give that a go then.

Didn't fancy it been the elements or something that was goosed!

There were faulty Heated Seat elements and switches so a Service Campaign but not a 'Safety Related recall',

some had dangerous incidents so best check out if you car is one that Skoda UK will have to pay to repair.

I know mine has had the recall on the heated seats, as that's about all Skoda CS could, or rather wanted to tell me.

Had a similar problem, the 1 setting was really dim and 2 setting was not lighting. Funnily enough same switch on the same side. I also felt like the seat was getting a little hotter than usual.

They replaced the switch and did something with the wiring.
