First Hydrogen Taxi in Scotland: Aberdeen.

Featured Replies

If London buys, say, 20_000 of them it might give Sadiq Khan's "UltraLEZ Zone" some much needed credibility.

Actually the first hydrogen taxi was launched in Shetland donkeys years ago! It ran on hydrogen produced from wind power too. It was also the first hydrogen fuel cell car registered in the UK.

Maybe it never had a Taxi Licence or Aberdeen Council just never checked!

Or Humza Yousaf MSP the Transport Minister of Scotland or someone from the Transport Scotland Agency.

Journalists should have checked though.

I read this week that Aberdeen is getting lots more money from someplace to blow on Green Hydrogen Technology,

so Hydrogen Cargo Bikes.

No idea what is wrong with Electric Cargo Bikes, but someone must have thought we produce so much and better use it, while also being quoted as worried about Brexit & Fuel shortages for the area.
